I strongly believe that an attorney has an obligation to use their skills to help people and to improve the reputation of attorneys and the court system generally. To that end, I look for opportunities to serve individuals and associations who need legal counsel.

Mid Missouri Legal Services

MMLS runs an uncontested divorce clinic at which I volunteer monthly. I have also taken pro bono family law cases.

Missouri Trial Lawyers Care

MATA has partnered with the Missouri Red Cross to provide legal services to individuals who are recovering from a natural disaster. MO TLC also does charitable events with food banks, habitat for humanity, and coat drives.

CoMo Roller Derby League

I volunteer as legal counsel for the local roller derby league. I write and review their venue and sponsorship contracts as well as their liability waivers and safety policies. In addition, I serve as the Head Non-Skating Official for the League.
